2008 marks the 40th anniversary of the A's in Oakland. This season we stretched an impossibly low budget by using existing archival photos to highlight the great players of the past, while using behind-the-scenes photography of the current players from Michael Zagaris. The Z-man gives us an un-filtered perspective on the players that is unexpected and different than the usual slick, over-hyped photography coming out of the major sports media outlets these days.
